How to Read an AI Skin Score Without Overthinking It
Your first Dermora score is a baseline, not a verdict. Here is how to use the number, the seven categories, and the routine that follows.

A score is a starting point
Dermora scores your skin from 0 to 100 so you have something honest to compare against next week. Typical first scans land in the mid range. That is expected. The job of the number is not to flatter you or scare you. It is to give tonight’s routine a baseline.
Treat the overall score as a snapshot of how your skin looks and feels in this light, on this day, with the photos you uploaded. It is cosmetic guidance, not a diagnosis.
Read the categories, not just the headline
The more useful signal is the seven-category profile: breakouts, redness, texture, pigmentation, hydration, oil balance, and barrier health. One high-priority category is a better place to start than trying to fix everything at once.
If a category has weak photo evidence, the confidence will drop and the copy should lean on your questionnaire. That is the system being cautious, not guessing.
Turn the score into tonight’s steps
The AM and PM plan is the part to follow. Keep the first week simple: the cleanser, the one active that matches your top concern, moisturiser, and morning sunscreen. Recheck when the calendar says so, then compare the same categories rather than chasing a perfect 100.
